Partners in Crime
One fateful day, in a small town in New Jersey, Caroline and Michael partnered up for the first time as the only two try-hards in a high school media production class. Though the start may have been rocky, it didn’t take long to discover their strength as a creative duo.
Throughout high school, they created several comedy short films that went on to receive acclaim at both local and national film festivals. Within this encouraging community, the duo became known for their refreshing energy and homegrown comedy.
Get to Know Us…
Caroline was in middle school during the pandemic, and they had far too much time to watch far too much television. But they were also far too bored to leave it at that.
Finding inspiration in shows like Arrested Development and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Caroline made their first foray into screenwriting through comedy television. They quickly discovered a knack for situational humor, heavily influenced by the work of Please Don’t Destroy.
Currently studying film at NYU Tisch, Caroline is working towards a career in the entertainment industry as a writer, actor, and comedian. They are heavily immersed in the New York comedy scene as they continue to study and practice all forms of comedy, from film- to sketch- to standup. Caroline is an energetic optimist at heart, and they are roused by the belief that there is always more to learn from the talented creatives around them. After all, you can’t get anywhere without collaboration!

Michael DeMar
Michael remembers his first time being mesmerized by the creativity of filmmaking like it was yesterday. It was, however, as far away from yesterday as it could possibly be.
The spectacle of classic blockbusters like Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Empire Strikes Back! The joyful wit of comedies like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and The Muppets! It was all so inspiring—enough for him to delve into filmmaking at a very young age. He spent years creating LEGO stop-motion animations before shifting his focus to live-action short films during high school.
As a filmmaker with a focus on satire and absurdity, Michael strives to create content that is just as comedic as it is visually engaging. Soon to graduate from Montclair State University with a degree in film, Michael will undoubtedly continue to work hard to become a director that embodies all of the imaginative charm and soul of classic blockbusters. He will never stop pushing to better his storytelling through collaboration and persistence.
